As someone who produces YouTube Videos I have learnt that audio is important to the people that are watching your content. So when I received my new FIFINE Microphone I was looking forward to seeing the increase in audio quality on my Video’s.
So now that I have used the FIFINE Microphone I would like to share my thoughts and experience. So let’s dive into this microphone in more detail.
Design:
This is a free standing Condenser Microphone but can also be attached to a boom arm, so this allows you to seamlessly fit the microphone into your setup. There are several other design features that this microphone has.
Volume Control:
This FIFINE Microphone has 3 dials to control the volume for the
- Microphone
- Headphones
- Chat or Gaming
These are easy to access, I particularly like that’s you are able to dial in whether you are gaming or chatting. I dial in on the chat as I am using this to record audio so no need to mess about with ratio’ etc.
RGB Lighting
This is a fun addition to this gaming microphone. I love a bit of RGB lighting so having four RGB modes and 6 colour schemes that easily control with a button is great. It just enough without going overboard which I like as too much choice leaves me messing around rather than getting on with the job in hand.
Features:
There are some really good features on this microphone that makes easy and fun to use.
Connectivity:
The FIFINE Microphone use USB-C to USB-A to connect to your Laptop. The USB-C side of the adaptor goes into the Microphone and the USB-A directly into your laptop. I found that it was easy to configure in my MacBook Air settings with the instruction being clear so I was up and running ready to record in minutes.
Headphones & Noise Cancellation:
On the bottom of the FIFINE Microphone you have a headphone jack for you to plug your headphones in if you are using them. Here is also where you are going to find the noise cancellation button that is just one touch of this button will turn on the noise cancellation.
Mute Touch Control:
This is a good feature for those that use the microphone for gaming and also for work conferences calls. On the top of FIFINE Microphone there is a touch sensitive button that allows you to quick mute yourself. This is great for when you are not talking and don’t your break ground noise coming through on a call.
Sound Quality:
For me this was the biggest thing as I am using this microphone for my YouTube Videos so it needs to be good. And it certainly didn’t disappoint. With this being a condenser microphone it provides great tone and clarity, retaining the detail in your voice.

Final Thoughts
For me this has improved my YouTube setup in the area that most say matters the most to your viewers, The Audio. The fact that it is easy to set up and doesn’t add any additional time to getting ready to film is important as I constantly look to streamline my workflow.
Although YouTube is my use case for the FIFINE Microphone I can see how gamers and those on conferences calls a lot would love this as well. It quick to setup and provides uses feature such as touch sensitive mute button which is easy to get too when you need it.
In conclusion I am very happy with this Microphone and would recommend you check it out if you are looking to upgrade your setup.
