Are you someone who likes to wirelessly charge their iPhone, are you fed up with having multiple charging cables? Are you looking for the best iPhone Wireless Charger for your needs?
In this post I will go over 4 of the best iPhone Wireless Chargers that I have come across that do not only charge your iPhone but will also charge your other Apple Devices.
1. Journey Rapid TRIO 3-1 Wireless Charging Station
2. Anker Wireless Charging Stand
3. Anker 3-1 charger
4. Nomad Stand One Max
But before we delve into these chargers let’s look at the benefit of using a Wireless Charger or Charging Station.
Pros & Cons of Wireless Charging:
When we look at wireless chargers there are a few benefits that you get:
- Convenience
- Reduces the number of cables
- Charge multiple devices at a time
- Make your space clutter-free
If you are like me I like to have my wireless iPhone wireless charger by my bed. I can easily just put my phone on charge without having to look for my charging cable. Less cables means less clutter, so it generally makes your space more aesthetically pleasing.
So we have covered some of the pros so what about the cons? Depending on your charger you are likely to see slower charging speeds than if you were to use a cable. There is the question of if wireless charging can have a negative impact on your battery but battery life is determined by the charging cycle and not what you use to charge it.
Whether you choose to go down the wireless charger route will be dependent on how you use your phone. For instance, if you charge your phone overnight its charging speed is not going to be an issue. If you are a power user and find yourself needing to charge your phone during the day then speed and therefore charging using a cable might be the better option.
1. Journey Rapid TRIO 3-1 Wireless Charging Station
The Journey Rapid Trio is one of my go-to chargers and has several benefits:
Pros:
- Compact Vertical Design
- Charger up to 3 devices at a time.
- Rapid Charging
- Detachable USB-C Apple Watch Charger
- Compatible with MagSafe and Qi wireless charging
The main benefit that I have found is that I can charge all of my Apple devices on this charger at the same time. I will rarely have my phone, watch and AirPods charging at the same time but I do always charge my iPhone and Apple Watch Ultra overnight.
Another added benefit is that I can also charge my Samsung S24 Ultra as it’s compatible with Qi Wireless charging.
Cons:
- Expensive
- Power adaptor not included
You will need to purchase an adaptor when you buy this charger which needs to be 30W to support to power throughput for charging all your devices.
2. Anker Wireless Charging Stand
This is great for having on your desk or bedside table as it is a compact and Stylish charger:
Pros:
- Charges your iPhone and AirPods
- Adjustable Phone Charger Surface
- Charging Status indicator
- USB-C charging
This is the cheapest of the chargers that we have on the list coming in at just under £30 which I think is good value for a MagSafe Charger.
Cons:
- Only chargers 2 devices
- Slow charging speed
- Power adaptor not included
3. Anker 3-1 Charging Station
This is the 2nd charger from Anker to make it onto the list of the best iPhone wireless chargers so what are the benefits of this Anker charger?
Pros:
- Charger 3 devices at a time
- Folds down so it is ideal for travel
- Compatible with a range of phones
Like the Journey Rapid Trio, this charger allows you to charge up to 3 devices at the same time. The main difference here is that it’s not magnetic so it is compatible with other smartphones without needing to have a MagSafe case. It also folds down so it is compact and ideal for taking away with you when travelling.
Cons:
- No MagSafe
- Power adaptor not included
4. Nomad Stand One Max
Nomad is a great brand that focuses on producing great accessories for your Apple devices and the Stand One Max is no different and boasts several benefits
Pros:
- 3-1 MagSafe Charger
- Charger up to 15W
- Apple Watch Fast Charger
- Weighted Metal & Glass design
This also comes in two colours so you can choose which matches your space best. This is also Qi2 compatible so you will be able to charge other phones but you will need to have a MagSafe case to attach your phone.
Cons:
- On the more expensive side
- Power adaptor not included
Final Thoughts:
As you can see from the above there are plenty of benefits to using an iPhone wireless charger and they vary in price depending on what you are looking for. Some will pack more charging speeds whilst others will just do what it says on the tin. Using wireless charging stations is fuss fuss-free, convenient way to charge your devices as it’s an all-in-one solution. This removes the need for multiple cables and power adaptors that can create a cluttered look and feel to whatever space you choose to charge up your devices.
Although all of these are under the banner of the best iPhone Wireless Charger it doesn’t mean that you can’t charge other smartphones and earbuds that are Qi compatible such as the s24 Ultra or Galaxy Buds. You will not however be able to charge other smartwatches.
The one thing that they all have in common is that they do not come with a power adaptor in the box. For the Anker ones which are a bit lower down the price scale, I can kind of accept no adaptor, however, for chargers over the £100 mark, I would like to see one included.
